With so much to do at the Summit Resort, you might want to stay right on the premises! Your resort has hot tubs, saunas, grilling areas, tennis, two pools, Summit Tiki Bar, Bikini Bob's restaurant, Summit store, tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, and even a fitness facility. In the summer, the Adventure Zone for youngsters, particularly the "dive-in movies" on the pool deck, is indeed an excellent feature.
The Summit 1230 condominium, on the 12th level, features a 1-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom unit that sleeps up to six people and has amazing Gulf views. The main bedroom features a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, plenty of storage, and a private half-bathroom with access to the full-bathroom with a tiled tub/shower combination. The built-in twin bunk beds provide the children with an ideal sleeping space.
Relax in the spacious living room, which is equipped with a comfortable sofa, loveseat, a ceiling fan for those hot days and a flat screen television for gathering together and watching family movies. The sofa can be pushed out into a queen-size bed for additional sleeping space.
There are numerous options for dining out. Summit 1230, has a well-equipped kitchen, so you may go grocery shopping and dine in every night if you please. You'll find everything you need to prepare a delectable meal for your visitors.
With beautiful Gulf views and plenty of amenities for all your family to enjoy, Summit 1230 is an excellent choice for your next beach getaway.

First and foremost I gave the property 5 stars because I have stayed at the summit before and I would stay again so in that regard the property met expectations. It was as advertised. I would like to make a few observations that would hopefully help the next person. 1st off the check in process was smooth however we were allowed to check in 30 minutes early but we were not notified that the code was changed or needed to be changed so that was a bit confusing in the moment. 2nd there were no face towels or hand towels at all available which I thought was advertised. 3rd the smoke alarm went off for no reason in the middle of the night and another time in the morning. 4th the sink unexpectedly sprung a leak in the kitchen we had to to put a pot under the sink to catch the water. It was then taken care of by the property the next day. All in all it was a good stay and I just hope those small things would be rectified for the next guest.

Just looking to get away for the weekend, and this was a great place to do it. The unit is high enough up and away from the elevator that you can’t hear much of the ground noise, just the waves crashing in. Use caution if you’re booking around spring break - there were a lot of loud, drunk college kids pouring in towards the end of my stay, but the unit itself was great! The bed was very comfortable, great water pressure. Bring anything you might need toiletry and kitchen-wise - there are no extras. There is a little beach grill and a bar on the premises. Parking is extra $$, FYI.
