Southern always has the best home to feel comfortable while you’re on vacation.

I am honestly not sure I would stay here again. The property is nice, with nice decor and furnishings. It is a little smaller than we are used to, but we did not feel cramped, and everyone still had their own space. The fridge needs a deep clean, it smells like fish. It is not too far from the beach, but with 3 kids and gear, it was further than we wanted to walk. The listing seems a little misleading on that. But we drove down just a few minutes to another beach entrance with parking and easy access. It worked better for us. The pool is not huge, but it was great to have one with large steps and a shelf for the younger ones. It does not really have much of a shallow end so that was slightly annoying. The outdoor area is nice. We ate outside several times. The yard is private, you will hear neighbors but that's the nature of a neighborhood. It was not loud partying or late at night. The 9am check out is not ideal. Having at least until 10 would make it a little easier and feel less rushed. We had a major issue during our stay, with a gas leak. For the most part, Guest Services was friendly but there were a few times they seemed bothered by us, and they did not always communicate as much as they should. We had to text several times for updates. We had several days of our week affected by the leak and subsequent checks and repairs, and while they did offer compensation, I had to ask several times after we checked out to make sure we were getting it. Those times, whoever I spoke with was friendly, even if obviously unaware of the situation. In my opinion, the minute we call about a gas leak and the fire department, maintenance and the gas company have to come...we should have immediately been offered something. It was offered 2 days later. The issue was repaired, and we did receive our compensation for the inconvenience. Overall, it is a nice house in a pretty quiet area. But due to check out times, walk to beach and not being walkable to anything else, we probably will not stay here again.

The property itself was very nice. The issue was communication with the guest services department at Southern Vacation Rentals. The checkout time being 9am is way too early as well. Based on communication and check out time, I would be hesitant to book with Southern Vacation Rentals again.

We loved it! It was walking distance to the beach which is a huge must for me when I take the kids for a vacay. The pool water was heater for us which I was very happy with that because the weather wasn't the best and the kids were at least able to enjoy the pool.

Overall stay was decent..asked for a earlier check in then 4pm since my flight arrived sooner I was told I had to put that in 5 days in advance and there was a fee in order to make that request plus taxes but the check out was at 9am 🤔…easy access instructions was given house was nice just wasn’t up to par with the cleaning I had to make a request for clean towels and for the showers to be cleaned because hair was left in both of them…space was nice no need to buy anything for the beach because they have all beach necessity’s there for you…backyard area was beautiful with the fire pit pool was heated which was nice but we really didn’t spend much time in it because it was so deep no shallow area which was no fun for my 9 & 6 year old….
